Material Master data replication from ERP to CRM

Dear SCN,

I need clarification regarding how material master data is replicated from ERP to CRM.

Our counterparts have created new materials on ERP however replication to CRM did not take place immediately. Shouldn't replication be automatic on CRM? Or should I do manual download every time a new material is created.

Are there function modules on CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU that I might need to tick to enable automatic replication?
