Problems registering new B2C customer - COM_BPUS_INTERNETUSER_CREATE

Hi there,

We have the B2C and B2B web shops installed as part of CRM 4.0 SR1. Currently we are on CRM SP9.

Anyway in the B2C shop we are trying to register as a B2C customer for the first time. I have entered the name, email etc and when I click on 'Save' the following error message occurs:

"Error occurred in COM_BPUS_INTERNETUSER_CREATE when calling BAPA_USER_CREATE1;more information in RETURN table’."

We have the B2C Reference BP set up and assigned in the IMG. We also have a B2C Reference user set up and assigned to the B2C reference user in the IMG.

I have checked SAP notes and found note 884898. This has only been released recently and is still in German. Does anyone know if this note is related to the

error above ?
