Does anybody know why Packaging Code field in material master is missing?

Hi EHS & DG masters,

I´m working with DG checks.

I've read all documentation in SAPHELP on Integration of DG in Handling Units (Shipping Documents), and I've two issues:

1 First of all I can't select the Packaging Code in Material master of dangerous goods despite the fact I can manage the values in customizing.

2 The second cuestion is related with:

Select the material you want to pack and choose Extras -> Allowed Packaging Material or choose   with the quick info text Select Allowed Packaging Material.

The result is the following message (I expected a special dialog Selection of DG data for packaging).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Diego Ferrando.

Hi !

Check you have authorization objects, “M_MATE_DGT” “M_MATE_DGM” included to your user profile in order to solve your question no .2.

For Question No.1,

The Packaging codes are DG Regulation relevent. So you can’t enter those in Material Master but you have to enter those details in DG MASTER for that particular DG Material !. Goto DGP1 transaction, there you can find the entries you have maintained (as you have shown in Fig.2. –Change view “Packaging code” overview).

Hi !

Have you release the DG Material in Product Release..?

[Also check here,

Environment, Health and Safety -> Dangerous Goods Management -> Dangerous Goods Checks and Dangerous Goods Documents/EDI -> Common Settings -> Specify Relevant Dangerous Goods Master Tables.

There, tick mark the table, "CCDUTPACK" for the "CHK_SALES".]
