SAP HR Localization Development Toolkit

Hi all,

Has anybody heard /own/know where to get it from a document (document group) called SAP HR Localization Development Toolkit? Could someone share it with me please? Are there also some other materials about adapting Payroll to the countries that have no standard SAP Payroll solution?

    Hi Egle,

If your issue is payroll you should use international version.

    • You are right, Egle.

Ideally you always use the right country grouping, even you could make it work with 99 in the short run. This can also give you country specific content from SAP, even, when no payroll is available.

Moreover: you should only use 99 once. If you add another country with no payroll solution, you can easily get yourself into a dead end, when using 99 for both.

There definitely is some way to build cluster tables etc based on 99 as a template. I've seen this done for chile, when there wasn't a country solution available yet.

Unfortunately, I don't have this at my fingertips now. Hopefully another user does have better info.

You'd probably also find good hints on the SAP support portal - notes search - and from your contact at SAP.

      kind regards

      Sven

Omid, I am glad this opportunity exists. We will go this way in the short run then.

But in the long run we also have another country, Latvia, with no payroll. So we will need to think of how to do it if no solution is available there at that time. Sven, if you find something on this please let me know, ok?

    Best regards,

    Egle

Sven, Thank you very much!!! I will have this all in mind when I come to the tasks you mention and I will also take into consideration your general remarks about not trying to make it too general and complex.

Lithuania had IBAN account number system for many years. I do not know about SEPA much but I will find this out.

      Best regards,

      Egle
