Error with item category determination

Hello!

Please I am currently experiencing this issue with Item Category determination, I have cross checked over and over VOV4 but everything seems ok. When I create a sales order, the Item category is not determined rather it gives this error message "No item category available (Table T184 OR LEIS  )" The combination is OR - LEIS - TAD(Item Category) see attached screenshot. TAD is maintained in Item Category, In copying control, LEIS is maintained in Item Category Group, in Master Data.

Please how do I resolve this issue?

Hi,

In the screen shot you need to Remove the Higher Level item category only the Default item category Remains.

Did you check the material master data,the LEIS need to be Updated at both Levels.

Thank you Siva for your quick response. The issue has been resolved, it was caused because of the Higher Level Item Category.
