SAP BEx Reporting result description

Hi All,

Could any one let me know how can we change the description of the result column in SAP Bex reporting

need to change the result to 'total' in the right side column result, I should display result description as below

DEC 2011			Overall Result
xyz	abc	calc	Total xyz	total abc
1,098	200		2,086

Hi Teena,

As said by other members, it is a standard functionality. But it can be changed using program SAPLRRSV -  Goto Text elements - selection text - Text symbols

Row 25 will show you the Result.

But if you change it, will reflect globally. So beware before changing.

Hi LS,

I would suggest do not change standard SAP setting until you have high priority business requirement.SAP Does not recomand it.

you are right, but sometimes you have follow your client requirement  looking at the possibility and consequence. Here we are changing only the selection text, so it does not have any major implecation. If the client wanted to have its effect globally.

Hi Teena,

As suman said this is the Bex standard functionality we can not change it but to achive your requirement you can supress the result row...and create one formula or CKF which will sum the required values and name it as Total.in this way you can have required output.

"Overall Result" is a standard Display property in BEx. You cannot manipulate it by your own text.

Instead of that, create a CKF with "Total" as description and add the respective KFs in it.

Apply Result rows as "Always Suppress" for the Calmonth Char in the query. So you will not get standard "Overall result".

Select the any characteristic (xyz,abc) go to display tab- > in result rows -> always display ->

it will give over all result.
