HANA Certification

Hi Experts ,

I am an ABAP Consultant with 8 years of experience in i would like to do ABAP HANA certification . I am getting many biased opinions here.

Can any one please give me some ideas ?

Dear Arun,

From what I am aware there is no separate certification for ABAP HANA. The ceritifcations are for SAP HANA and ABAP programming for HANA is a module within the main course, basically a part of it. SAP HANA requires BI knowledge opensql knowledge. It's definitely worth doing the SAP HANA certification if you want a change in your SAP career from the conventional ABAP/technical consultant path. hope it helps. Good luck!

Hi Joseph,

               Planning to do certification.... Well, it all depends upon your interest. Doing a certification will always have some advantage over who does not do a certification. If company sponcers you it is always a 'YES'. If you are planning to spend huge currency for it then its not suggestable to do.

There is always a simple thing to say ... anyone who has money does certification. So here money domonates talent. Its all SAP business.

Leaving all things aside if you still want to do certification then do certification at professional level.
