Logo Image has gray background when printed

Our company is switching over business software and our forms design is ran by Crystal Reports 2011.

Our company logo when printed from Word comes out with black lettering and a white background. But, when we print our forms it has a gray background. The weird thing is, the logo has no color background in print preview.

Please let me know if anyone has encountered this problem and if so, has a solution.

We are running Windows 7.

The other strange thing is that when we print from our only XP machine, to the same printer as we do for the 7 machine, it prints with no background!!
