Dear ,

Your biometric machine is produce data in fixed formate please suggest them to produce in flat text format which is similar to lsmw formate .then every day go upload the data ..

I have one more idea for you .

If machine is store data in database server then trigger the data from non sap system to sap through program ..

Hi Naresh,

The LSMW will not upload the data's in to TEVEN table (IT2011) from the biometric system...You want to download the file and save it in ur local system and then try to upload using LSMW...

otherwise,

Tell ur technical team to write a program to upload timing data from the remote system where time in and out are saved from the biometric system...and put it as background jobs..

any doubts regarding this please reply back...

Thanks,

Hi Naresh,

As you knwo LSMW is a general method to migrate any kind of data into SAP. You there is no relation between LSMW and any click-in/out device or method.

If you upload data into SAP you should have your clock-in/out data in an excel file, then develop an LSMW project to migrate data into SAP.

Have a similar thread at

By the way you in standard method you should put/read clock-in/out data into CC1TEV and use PT45 to upload it into SAP. Have a look here http://scn.sap.com/thread/3430512
