All Orgunits in Unassigned Nodes in Hierarchy

Hello, experts. We have several queries in BEx using 0ORGUNIT and the ORGEH hierarchy. This hierarchy is loaded direct from R/3. When we look at the hierachy through RSD1, everything appears fine, and all nodes show up correctly under the correct node. However, when we create a query in BEx, attach the hierarchy, and "restrict" on this hierarchy, all nodes are showing up under "unassigned nodes", in addition to in the correct spot in the hierarchy drilldown. So, yes, every node is showing up twice, once in the correct spot, and once under "unassigned nodes". Have you ever seen this before? I don't understand how an orgunit can be part of the hierarchy and not part of the hierarchy at the same time.

Note that suppressing the unassigned nodes via the hierarchy attributes is not an option, since the user requires the ability to select "unassigned" in addition to selecting a specific hierarchy node. When the user drills down on the unassigned nodes, it takes several minutes to bring up the entire list of nodes.

Anything you can suggest would be most appreciated.

Thanks.
