As you can see from the attachment I ' m trying to use abap function module in queries.. But I have the attached error

IN other word, how can call the function module for bom explosion in Business Objects?? Thanks a lot....

Hello Silvana,

did you validate each layer from the Universe (connection, data foundation, business layer) and can you run queries in the data foundation layer ?

Consider moving this to the Semantic Layer space

You can use an ABAP function module as a data source in the IDT

But I don't think you can call it in SQL as it appears you are trying to do

I am using the ABAP function in the IDT .. The SQL is generated by IDT not by my self.. So, how can I do ? Thanks a lot best regards.

I would need to know more details about the function module, and what you are trying to show.  My initial take is it is something with the ABAP function module.

Hi Silvana,

I don't know anything about SAP BOM explosions and I am not an ABAP expert.

Perhaps sit with your ABAP programmer to find an appropriate function module that meets your needs to use the IDT?
