Workflow at PR release

I copied and set standard workflow WS0000038. When I created PR a workitem is correctly created to the approver. But when approver release PR no workitem is created to the wf_initiator. I set wf_initiator in tab notification of TS0008018, too.

Now workitem at release is OK.

But when a PR is rejected no workitem (Sap Business Workplace) is created to WF_INITIATOR.

Hi,

1. Go and check in SWEL while rejecting PR,Rejection event gets triggered against your Custom task number or not ?
2. Check your Workflow log from SWI1-->Tool bar Workflow log option.

  Please check the PR status, is the PR  reallly rejected.  Then check  the release strategy

That means PR rejection event is not triggered.

While Rejecting the PR Rejection event should trigger for terimination purpose.So track the reason.

Do one thing manually reject PR then check in SWEL.(Any event triggering or not)

Hello Giulia !

          After rejecting the purchase requisition document, if REJECTION_START event is not getting fired, check the following cases :

          1. BANPR field of the table EBAN is not setting to 08 - This means purchase requisition

              rejection is not happened

          2. Filters are set in SWEL transaction for REJECTION_START - This means event trace would

              not exhibit REJECTION_START

         From both the above two cases, if BANPR sets to 08 and no filter is set in event trace, configure the change document BANF in SWEC transaction with REJECT_START event. This will work.

1. Have you done General Task for 8018 Task in your custom workflow.
2. Kindly share your workflow log screen shot.So than we can find where workflow struck up..

HI Giulia,

If you copied same standard workflow 38 means.

After Release at approver level,You will get Release notification at Workflow initiator SAP inbox only.(Not in SOST because this place for External outlook mails)

If you want notify a person thru external mail means,You have to add send mail step.(Red pointed place you have to replace with send mail step)

Hope So Dont change the Release requisition Task TS00007986.(Use the same standard Task otherwise teriminating event will not capture properly it leads to Workflow hang up)

Check in SOST if you are receiving an notification email, if all workflow i set up correctly.

SOST is empty because I haven't created a notification via mail but only sap office notification.

Please give few more details.If approver releases then what workitem has to be created which initiator itself has to process ..I guess you are referring to notification mail either to sap/non-sap mail box to the initiator that PR has been released.

Hi Lohith,

user A create PR and a workitem is sent in user B sap office. User B approve PR and a workitem has to be sent to user A sap office. This last step doesn't work with TS0008018.

How this task has to be set?
