Blocked Stock Age

Hello,

I am looking for a report or transaction code that shows the age of blocked stock.  That is to say, for everything in blocked stock, when was it put into blocked stock?  Ideally this would be a list showing part number, storage location, and transaction date.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

do you manage your material in batches?

do you manage your receipts with warehouse management, and each receipt is stored apart from the earlier receipt of the same material?

These would be the 2 ways how you really can determine the age of a material, or a part of a material.

Without these in place you can just assume how old your material is.

because without batch management a new receipt is just posted onto the stock that is left.

In SAP it is finally just one record in table MARD  that represents 2 physical receipts.

So you would need to write a program to know how much from this stock is from which date,  under the assumption that each goods issue was done accorging to the FIFO principle .

Even more difficult in case a part of the total stock is blocked as you do not know which part.

Yes, we manage in batches with warehouse management.  I'd like to see the date of the transaction that put the material into blocked stock.

Use MB51, enter material and plant and batch and movement type and execute.

Technically stored in MKPF and MSEG table
