Error in CJIC - No assets under const. exist for cap. inv. measure PRXXXXX

Hello,

I am getting an error message (Message no. AY026). When doing the CJIC settlement a error mesage appears:

No assets under const. exist for cap. inv. measure PRXXXXX - Message no. AY026

Diagnosis. You have called up the function "Display asset under construction" for the capital investment measure (PRXXXXXX).  No asset under construction has been created for the capital investment measure.

Procedure. Check whether you need an asset under construction for this capital investment measure.

If necessary, create an asset under construction for the capital investment measure (Maintain capital investment measure).

However what I am trying to do is the settlement of a WBS element totally settled against Profit sgement instead of Fixed Asset. We have the configuration on the transaction OKOA or  OKO7 where where you can configure the allowed receivers (check the attachment).

Even when PSG settlement is allowing according to this, our system allways requires us to enter an Asset under construction. How can I configure the system or creating the WBS in order to allow seetle fully agains a cost GL?

Hi SAP experts,

Even after configuring a new flow of settlement and project rules, I am not able to get a settlement. CJIC and also other settlement transaction allways requires me to have an AuC created.

I have realized that CJIC transaction has "Depreciation Area" as mandatory. Since depreciation area is a concept used for the fixed Asset, I am not sure if there is an alternative to register the settlement rule for the WBS to avoid the system asking me for an asset.

Is there anyone aware of this?

Hi Jorge

CJIC/CJID is for Captial Projects ONLY and therefore you see Depreciation Area as mandatory field in its selection screen.

If however you want to see the above project line items in CJIC, then assign Investment profile and then create AUC Automatically / manually and then it would be a Captial project. I know, its not your case, but still you can test the behaviour in Test environment.

CJIC/CJID are only used for investments where there are Fixed Assets asset involved.

Please check whether Asset was created as AUC or Investment measure.

Thanks for the answer. Asset is not created. In fact this is the problem I have. I want to settle all the imputations to this WBS against a profit segment, not to a fixed asset.
