GRC - Approve/Reject buttons

Hi Experts,

During Access request approval, when approver clicks on submit button request is getting approved. If approver wants to reject he is going to other actions and from there selecting Reject and able to reject the request. In access request approval screen there are 2 buttons [Approve and Reject]. when i click on them nothing is happening. What is the purpose of these buttons? How to make them work? Need your inputs on this.
