Right click on DFX layer in IDT and select Print.

Print preferences can be selected from Window > Preferences..

No good.

Doesn't print my diagram . It churns out 30-odd pages of gunk which I don't want , but no readable diagram.

Thert's a TINY , unreadable diagram which I need a microscope for - but nothing fit for human consumption. Truly a masterpiece of user-hostile design, this IDT.

you can try to adjust the page size while printing.

Tried that - didn't work.

I find it hard to beleive that something with such utterly dreadful interface design as this has been allowed to escape onto the market

Hey David,

While Arljit was on the right track as far as detailed content print, the ability to actually output the entire Data Foundation as an image is in a slightly different spot.  Open the Data Foundation and observe the button highlighted here.

It'll download the diagram as an image to a location of your choosing.  The rub there is if you want to print it and if it is a universe of any size, you need a plotter.  So, as Arljit pointed out, paper size in the ANSI A-whatever size is what will get you to plotter sized prints.

I hope that helps.

Many thanks Eric , that is helpful . It appears this is the ONLY way to print out a diagram in something resembling readable format.

No worries.  The good news is you only need one way as long as it works
