SPAM/SAINT Update - Version 7.01/0043

Dear Masta,

I finish the install SAP ECC 6.0 at Aix. and now, i will update SPAM Update - Version 7.01/0043,

Why i find the spam version 7.01/0043? because I will same the spam at QAS and Production.

I cannot finded at OSS.

Need your help masta..

Hi there B000 dark,

I understand that you would want the SPAM version to be synchronized for the landscape.
If one of the SID is patched, you would be able to find the file in /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in directory.

In transaction SPAM > Support Package > Load packages > From Application Server

When you select Support Package > Import SPAM/SAINT Update, you will be prompted with the patch level of SPAM available from your EPS inbox.

Hi,

For doing any patch related activities it needed to update to latest patch level. At present as you see it is at 51 level. If you are not doing any patch related activities then no need to update to latest level. You can leave it as it is. I don't understand why you are looking for the lower patch level of spam/saint.

Hi,

From your screenshot I can see that your present level is 7.01/43. You can leave as it is if you are not going for any patch upgradation activity. Otherwise you can update it to latest 51 level. You can download the latest level in the above mentioned path from SMP.

Hi,

What is your point here. You didn't get my point. Your present level is 7.01/0043. You can leave it as it is whether it is production or quality or development until you are going for any upgrade activity.

During upgrade activity it will ask to update to latest level if you didn't update to latest level.

Still if you have any doubts, mention them clearly. So that if I can't answer them anyone here in SCN will try to answer your doubts.

Hi,

have you done the sp upgrade with spam/saint version 43 and you want to do the sp update in the another system with same 43 patch level and you cant find it.

Usually it is advised to run the support pack update with latest spam/saint version so that you don get any error that have been identified by sap in later version..

But if you have done one systen with any specific patch level and you want the same patch for other system you can try to raise message with sap and get the particular patch..

Also try to search if you find the patch in your EPS/in of the older system that you used 43 patch.
