Hello,

The requirement is,

Need to display n number of iviews in a page. Each iview should look like a window with minimize and maximize button. When the iview is clicked, it should be maximized in the page and when clicked on to the minimize button it should get minimize and all other iviews should be visible in that page. Has anyone implemented this ?

Hi,

Can you explain a little more?

  • You mean that when an iView is minimized there should be a "taskbar" at the bottom of the portal page with some icon to maximize it again? Is that taskbar always visible -- no matter the status of the scrolling?

  • The portal provides a button to show and hide each iView. Why is this not OK?

Hello Daniel.

It is hide and show. I need the iview to be visible always. when I click on to it, it should maximize and when i click on minimize button it should minimize.

Hi Rukmani,

> When the iview is clicked,

> it should be maximized in the page

This is not supported by the standard and would be a really big deal (you would have to modify the page builder extensively).

Anyhow, you have the possibility to select "Open in new windows" on an iView, which somewhat results in what you whish - a whole IE window for one iView.

> when clicked on to the minimize

This is supported by the standard, even if the iView will minimize to one line (not to an icon).

Hope it helps

Hi Rukmani,

my "solution" comes with the standard. You only have to activate "Show tray" and "Show Open in New Window" on each iView in question. Then, the iView gets a top tray with the options activated as set in the configuration, e.g. "Open in New Window". That's all.

Hope it helps
