I am trying to settle AUC through aiab to GL account. The settlement had been done in previous year through cj88 to AUC. Now while trying to settler from AUC to GL, it is giving me error saying that

Settlement of Old Asset Data to Receiver Type G/L Not Allowed

Message no. AW607

Diagnosis

You tried to settle values from the previous year to a receiver other than an asset.  This procedure is not supported by the system.

Procedure

Check your distribution rules and change the receiver.

Any other specific soultion? it will be helpful to me plz.

Why aren't you transferring the AuC to a Fixed Asset?

Our company's business demands that all the expense be transferred to GL instead of Fixed asset. for the current year i am able to transfer to GL, however for those which had been settled in previous years, the system is not allowing us to settle to GL. Your valuable suggestions will be apreciated.
