BODS 4.1: how to pull data from mainframe using bods 4.1 and load into ECC CRM

Hello Experts,

I'm new to BODS....Could you please help to determine the approach to be followed in order to load data using BODS 4.1 from mainframe as source and SAP ECC CRM as destination?

Please provide with some documentation in case you have any or simply providing some pointers would also be of help.

As far as i know we have adapter data store for Main Frame data

As far as I know the only way to connect to mainframe is with the 3rd-party Attunity Connect software. DS provides a datastore, type = database, database type = Attunity Connector, to access mainframe data.

hello Vinayak,

My understanding here for mainframe as a source - DB2 would the probable database there, so by making DB2 connection in your datastore you can read the data.

I am also trying to understand for making CRM, APO, EWM as target that how to push the dat to them, lets wait for some inputs.

But feeling here is that it would be IDOC/BAPI methods through which BODS will push the data and target will get.
