Hi ,

I have a scenario where i need to publish a dashboard in a PPT format , now the requirement is whenever the user will open the PPT he should be able to see the latest version of SWF that lies in the repository .

Any idea how to achieve the same ,

Hi Charu,

You may export the dashboard as a ppt from File > Export > Powerpoint slide -

A point worth noting is - the dashboard will actually be exported as an embedded swf object in the ppt file.

Also, you can store the ppt file on the BO File Repository and use web-service/query browser data connections to access data dynamically but you cannot open it from the SAP Portal using the traditional SAP NW BICS connection.

Thanks Bala for the reply but can you please clarify  a bit more on how to refresh the data in the PPT file , I can store it in BO file repository but what could be steps to refresh the data if end user tries tp open it .
