PA30 Not Able to Delete Interface Employees

I have id in production system with which we delete employees through PA30 when I am checking the normal employees hired in system through pa40 I am able to delete it properly. But when I take any employee which was interfaced in system I get delete option disable for them on same id. I have checked Authorizations but there is nothing wrong with it. Can anyone let me know what can be the issue and how can it be solved.

Hi Sumeet,

Interfaced in the sense you are talking about data uploaded into the system by any external way (like interface programs) instead of doing it manually. Have you visited the overview page for the employee n PA30 and checked whether the delete option enable for it. If possible attach the screen shots for an employee doing it in both ways.

Hi Giriesh,

Yes thats correct that the employees which are being interfaced through programs into one sap system and not hired manually in system through PA40.

I have seen PA30 and path followed is

PA30->Enter Pernr->Utilities->Delete Personal Number->Select infotypes for pernr and click on delete button on menu bar.

When i enter normal employee i can see this delete button and can excute it.

But in case of interfaced employees this delete button does not appear on menu bar.

Hi Sumeet,

I dont think it might be the problem with Interface programs. Please try the t-code PU00 in order to delete a personnel number. Can you please attach the screen shots of both the scenarios (manual and interfaces updation) to a pernr, so that I might have any clue. Hi Giriesh,

I tried with PU00 Tcode too and its the same screen we get while deleting through pa30 the path with i told you before.But delete button is not there for this interface employees.In the normal employee i get delete button there i cannot open normal pernr in PA30 as its production system so cannot show you that screen shot .

Hi Sumeet,

Did you check your own authorizations?

You need to have this object P_DEL_PERN in Prod to be able to delete pernr.
