Error while running the background job for posting from AL11 directory

Hi Friends,

I have an issue with the processing of the data from AL11 directory.

The file consists of about 1 Lakh lines.

If we are trying to run the transaction directly through foreground, the file is getting picked up successfully from AL11 directory and post the document. This is taking huge time as the user has to wait until the transaction gets posted.

But when we schedule the same transaction through Background, we are getting the error, "Data Set Not Open" or "Unable to open Data set".

The background job runs successfully once in 10 times. Now its not running at all. Always the error.

Its seems normally the foreground should have the issues of time out etc., but weirdly the background job is having the issue.

We have checked the program logic etc., there seems to be no issues. We are absolutely stuck up, on why and what is the difference which exists in not picking the file from Al11.

Request your help of experts in this issues, as we couldn't find the solution.
