Upgrade of SBO from 8.81 to 9.0

Hi Experts,

I am planning to upgrade SBO application from 8.81 PL09 to 9.0 PL08.

Along side I am also planning to upgrade SQL from 2005 to 2012.

As SBO 9.0 does not support SQL 2005 & SBO 8.81 does not support SQL 2012, I am thinking of first upgrading SQL from 2005 to 2012, then upgrading SBO from 8.81 to 9.0 using the upgrade wizard without actually opening the application.

Please share your thoughts, concerns & experiences.
