rowcount of ECC table

HI everyone,

How to achieve in BW  row count of ECC table without actually staging the data.... ?

you can rowcount object in your BW cube or DSO.But no of rows you will get to know only after data loads. In ECC directly you can see no of rows there or records.

add rowcount object in the CUbe and give some constant selection as 1 and it will count all the rows.

Let me know if it helps. In 7.3 MP have this 0ROWCOUNT object.

Hi,

If there is standard data source then you need go with generic data source concept.

Other wise down load ecc tables data into Excel and upload into bw by using flat file data source/flat file source system connections.
