Profile is automatically getting generated in production ??

Hi SAP gurus,

We are currently doing an activity of taking out all the roles with non-generated profiles in production system.

Today morning we took out a list of the roles from SUPC that were not generated in production but were generated in development. After 5 minutes a colleague of mine took out the list from the production system and we saw that 5 roles (which were also included in my list of non-generated profiles) were showing as generated in the production system. No transports were moved. The check box to 'generate automatically' wasn't checked in SUPC. No manual generation was done in the roles individually. AGR_TIMEB is not showing any recent changes.

Is there any possible explanation for this??

Did you check if there was any background job scheduled to generate those profiles?

Hi,

is a job like "PFCG_TIME_DEPENDENCY" running on your system?

One step is the report "RHAUTUPD_NEW"

This one generates the assignment of authorization to users active profile.

Perhaps it's generating the role too?

no, rhautupd_new does not generate profiles.

Thank you for the replies. It seems someone moved only those 5 MTs in another revtrac path. Hence I didn't get that transport in workbench where I searched using the normal path.
