Update business partner takes long time

Hi,

I'm trying to update the business partner using DI API but when I update the BP, sometimes it takes long time. Sometimes it takes 2 seconds and others 2 minutes.

I'm using SBO 8.8.

Any idea?

Mike

    • Hi, I dont think the problem is in my code because if the BP is updated using DI SERVER( I'm using di api), it takes the same time.

      There is only one way to update the business partner without take long time. Users should not be connected

      My code:

      SAPbobsCOM.BusinessPartners bp = (SAPbobsCOM.BusinessPartners)oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oBusinessPartners);

      if (bp.GetByKey(sn.cardCode) == false)

      return "No se encontró el Socio de Negocios";

      bp.CardName = sn.cardName;

      for(int i=0; i<bp.Addresses.Count; i++)

      {

      bp.Addresses.SetCurrentLine(i);

      if(bp.Addresses.AddressType == BoAddressType.bo_ShipTo)

      {

      bp.Addresses.Street = sn.calle;

      bp.Addresses.StreetNo = sn.noExt;

      bp.Addresses.Block = sn.colonia;

      bp.Addresses.City = sn.municipio;

      bp.Addresses.ZipCode = sn.cp;

      if (sn.estado != null || sn.estado != "")

      bp.Addresses.State = sn.estado;

      bp.Addresses.Country = sn.pais;

      bp.Addresses.UserFields.Fields.Item("U_NoInt").Value = sn.noInt;

      }

      }

      int res = bp.Update();

    Try to clear the SBO_Transaction, if you have any control there.... and do again.

    Some times, customers put selects ther that taken long time do run.
