Hello Gurus,
According to Master Guide for PLM 7.03 under system landscapes it does say that Internal users only need an installed Web browser to access PLM Web User Interface functions.
I would like to know How can I use this functionality of accessing PLM web user functions from web browser, I also understand that portal is optional for 7.03.
Any thoughts or inputs would be great.
Thanks & Regards
Jo Pz
Hi Jo,
for example you can login to SAP with the classic SAP Logon and launch the NWBC transaction. If your user has the appropriate roles then a browser will be launched with PLM.
You can also:
- define a link to your SAP favorites
- bookmark the link of PLM (NWBC) in your browser
- use Enterprise Portal
Best regards
Tamas

Hi Jo,
I recommend you to use the 7.03. Most of the content should be the same but there can be differences in comparison with 7.02.
You can find it here:
Master Guides, Installation Guides, Upgrade Guides for SAP PLM
http://service.sap.com/instguides -> SAP Business Suite Applications -> SAP PLM -> Choose the PLM version you want
There is also a wiki site about PLM you can check it for further info:
SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) - Product Lifecycle Management - SCN Wiki
Best regards
Tamas
