Netwaever portal 7.3 travel request forms(PDF) inUWL

Hi Experts,

We are implementing Travel module. We have registered the standard task TS20000118. When approver tries to see the travel request  form in portal uwl
it displays travel request details in SAP GUI screen instead of PDF.

When we open  the task TS20000118 in UWL from task item its shows the screen as per attcahed here.

After clicking on the link "EmployeeTrip:Trip No SAP R3 GUI screen opens, instead of that we want PDF form.

Please let me know is there any configuration missing.

Hi Rashmi,

If I understood you correctly, you want to have the PDF that is attached to the workitem opened as the default action when you click on the link to action of the respective UWL record set. I had the same problem about 2 years ago, because I had an old UWL config file registered. Basically you need the Item type to point to the RequestForm service via its default action.

"defaultAction="com.sap.pct.erp.mss.tra.action.DisplayRequestForm"

In the newest configuration (14) of com.sap.pct.erp.mss.tra, this is standard.

Check note 1076144 for this.

Thanks for the promp reply.

I have already downloaded this configuration from SAP note 1076144.

We need to modify the XML file from this configuration or can we directly upload and register this configuration ?

Hi Rashmi,

• upload the file (I think it's a .zip) and overwrite the existing com.sap.pct.erp.mss.tra.
• re-register the connector
• clear the UWL cache

This should suffice. In the 14-Version of the XML-file, the Default Action is already set to opening the Request Form for TS20000118.

r u maintaining WebDynpro Launch system at registeration of UWL(System Admin->System Config->UWL). If yes, remove and try it once.

Also check the below entry is available at R3 Tcode SWFVISU

Hi Venkat,

We have already matanined handler="SAPAppLauncher" in UWL.

And checked entry is available at R3 Tcode SWFVISU.. task TS20000118 is exist there.
