Find out which SAPOffice documents are linked to GOS

Hello,

As documented in the SAP Data Management guide, we are purging the soffcont1 table by using RSSODFRE

report to purge documents in Dark Folders.

This report generate the information "has links to GOS" as reported in SAP Note 1641800.

The Note 569123 specify that the report RSGOSRE01 can be used to delete these GOS links.

1. How can I know the SAP Object/BOR references that are concerned by this links?

2. What are the risk of deleting these links?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I guess these are documents linked to POs etc. - you shouldn't delete them.

Hello,

Could you explain me what POs. is?

How could I access these documents?

PO = purchase order. In some systems, users attach documents to purchase orders, posting documents and other SAP objects - if you choose to force delete them, information will get lost (trust me, I already did so and provoked an angry mob ).

I'm not quite sure which table stores the link information, but you will find the IDs in table SOFFCONT1 - maybe someone else can provide this information? I only know that function group SGOS_ATTA can be used to add new links.

Hi Benoît

Have you got any way to find objects concerned by RSGOSRE01 program? Even I am
looking for the way to find it out. Thank you.

Hello,

Up to now, I have not succeeded to get answers to my questions.

I may open a call for the component BC-SRV-COM.
