Help on ZBW_ABAP_ANALYZER Program

Hello Everyone,

As a pre-requisite of migration from BW 7.X to BW 7.4 on HANA we have to perform certain tasks. One of the most important task was to execute ZBW_ABAP_ANALYZER (SAP Note -1847431)  program in to BW 7.X system to optimize the ABAP code for HANA.

I have executed this program by providing selection parameter as Transformation ID's. When I execute it this program in background, I get a job name in SM37.-> I clicked on my job -> Clicked on SPOOL list -> selected my requests.

It gives me list of Infocubes, DSO's and data source names. Also, at bottom I can see some ABAP program. My questions are

1. how do we come to know whether do we have any error in any of the ABAP code for any of the transformations ? Because it shows all programs & Routines.

2. Do we get any other information from this program about optimization of ABAP code  ?

Any helps or input here is really appreciated.

Hello,

1) As specified in SAP note 1847431, go to tx. SLG1 and check applications logs under object RSD.

2) In SLG1, you will get information about which object you need to optimize for HANA.
