'Lifecycle planning' for S&OP demand planning

Is it possible to perform 'lifecycle planning' as part of demand planning in S&OP on HANA?

By this, I mean something similar to the 'Like' and 'phase in/out' modelling available in SAP APO?

    Here is what we can perform for NPI and EOL in S&OP

    • Standard View for NPI, EOL and transitions and with attributes or product status and dates (standard demo views)

    • Curve-fit modeling and like-modeling (standard demo view)

    • Easily maintain master data and combinations for products & customers from Excel planning UI

    • Price, revenue and profit analysis of new and end-of-life products

    Excel and highly flexible model configuration gives us the ability to model some of these scenarios. Automated phasein/phase out profiles like APO cannot be maintained.

      Hi Raghav, can you please provide more details for the standard demo views you are referring to.

      We have SAP delivered models and excel templates in IBP 5 but don't know where to access these standard views. A prompt response would be highly appreciated.
