Returnable Packaging for Industrial Gases

Industrial Gases manufacturers produce gases like Oxygen , Nitrogen from Air Seperation Units in bulk M3. This is stored in Insulated tanks, but is packed in cylinders of eg, 1m3. These cylinders are owned by the manufacturer . The Product sold is eg. Oxygen 10M3 in 10 cylinders. After the customer has consumed the Oxygen, he returns the empty cylinder. Each of these Cylinders are serially managed.

Returnable packaging is a standard functionality in SAP ECC 6. However, for smaller ASU's , SAP B1 is better acceptable on the price axis.

Has anybody configured returnable packaging in SAP B1 for a Serially managed Packing material.
