we want to develop a callcenter solution in Web Dynpro. While checking the possibilities of Web Dynpro we encountered the following problem:
we have to update the view of a call center agent every time a new cti-event occurs (e.g. a customer calls). The simplest solution to that is to push the information from the server to the client. But this doesn't seem to be possible in Web Dynpro.
We checked the timed trigger but that means polling which isn't really an option.
Is there any "build in" solution for this kind of problem in Web Dynpro?
