Flat File data upload issue in process chain

Hi Experts,

I have got an issue in process chain with flat file data upload .The Infopackage is getting failed with error message " The file "\\SAPBI2 \ XYZ \BI_application.CSV" is not open.

Could anyone please let me know, what all things I need to check , to get it done.

this is since source FF is not available.

Either path is wrong or the way pointed the file is not correct. are u loading the file through AL11 or desktop?check path..have u migrated the infopackage recently. it did not go through correctly?

Hi Cris,

If infopackage is accessing the file from server,please check in AL11 if the file is available or not.

Sometimes infopackage doesnt access the files on server.

once you open the file in AL11 ,do a /nrsa1  in the same screen--> select your infopackage and run.

See if it works

I had faced the same issue. IF you can replace the FF i nthe path given, please do the same..or ask user to replace the FF..it will work

Hi Cris,

Please check the file path in FILE tcode. The physical file path and file name should be exactly same.

Can you click on question mark(yellow icon , Ltxt) and share that info with us.

Am expecting your flat file source system connection may be broken.

Can you try to check the flat file source system connections at RSA1--> Source system--> select your flat file source system --> right click --> check.

One more thing can you check your flat file was placed in application server in specified path \\SAPBI2\XYZ\  .
