Is it possible to display material grp description 2 in PO line item

Hi Experts,

In material master search help for material group both the short text and long text is visible. but only short text is displayed in PO line item search help. Is it possible to display material group long text(description 2) in PO.

    In Item Details Material Data tab material group serch help we get material group long text(description 2)

    Hi,

    To getting both desc of material group in PO,you have to modify search help - H_T023 ,pls refer below screen shot for search help.

    Material Group text table is T023T.Pls take help of ABAPER and modify serch help.You will get both desc.

    Hi,

    The search help for material group in ME21N will be H_T023_MEPO.

    Go to SE11 and insert the search help as H_T023_MEPO and go to details. Here, you would see as below:

    If you have access key to modify the standard, you can go to Menu - edit - change search help type and insert WGBEZ60 field in the search help.

    Get help from your abap team to modify the same.
