Equipment fields are not updated from outbound delivery

Dear Gurus

I am creating equipment from serial number profile while creating delivery. Please help me to understand why sales order no.,Sales org, distribution channels are not updated in equipment from delivery or sales order.

We are transferring equipment in install base CRM and there is a need for these fields to be updated.
