re-created system by LMDB does not show

Former Member

Hi:

My co-worker deleted a managed system SS1 from LMDB.

Then immediately he used LMDB to re-create SS1.

Then RZ70 and Visual Administrator SLD test are both run successfully (this is dual stack on NW7.0)

However, on Solman7.1 SS1 cannot be found.

1) how to make SS1 show up?

2) where can we find the trace or log since there is no error show?

Thanks!

Hi EP Person,

1. Check the job SAP_LMDB_LDB_0000000001 is running and paste the job log

If the job is running for long time then cancel it and start it.

2. Aso check in SLD , whether the system is added or not

3.. Sometimes LAPI cache didn't get clear so you need to restart to solman system.

To trouble shoot the lmdb , run the transaction LMDB_ADM transcation and check the error and warning.

Remove complete credentials from solman SLD and enter the deleted system i mean SS1 and enter t code RZ70 .So that u can add into SLD and after few mins you can able to see your system added into LMDB

Delete the system from the SLD and re-register the system in RZ70, after a couple of minutes you should be able to see it again in LMDB

Hi,

Please check the below note for the cleanup and then resync the SLD and LMDB.

1781779 - Edit technical systems of the LMDB in the SLD

1954339 - How to delete an obsolete managed system in Solution Manager?

    Application Server ABAP
      a) Display in "Technical Systems" -> "[Web ]AS ABAP"

You search for an individual system using the system ID (SID) or the host name of the database (DB) server.

      b) Display in "Content Maintenance / CIM Instances"

For the display of all systems, select the CIM class "Application Server ABAP". For the associations you must particularly highlight all "Installed ..." for the installed software and also "BC System ..." for the individual components of the system.

      c) Consistent deletion of the systems

First, delete from "Technical Systems" -> "[Web ]AS ABAP". Afterwards, go to "Automatically Updated Data" and search for enhanced data packages with the SID as the text filter. Possible enhancements are, for example, "BCControlInstance", "ABAPInstanceKernel", and "CentralServiceInstanceKernel". These data packages are added by sapstartsrv. Delete all enhanced data packages of which you are sure that they are related to the system that is to be deleted.

For the resync...

1887515 - Managed system is not synchronizing from SLD to LMDB after manual deletion from LMDB
1648712 - LMDB cannot synchronize with SLD

Thanks

We already did "LMDB - Create Technical system" several times, then push the data to SLDs, waited overnight, still cannot see it at solman_setup.

Thanks!

If so are you able to see the system under Tx LMDB - Technical System Selection ?

Also check the suggestions in this thread.
