I have one small question:
What is "Restoring Original Partners for Acknowledgments" in Receiver IDoc channel? and when should we check this?
I searched for this on web but couldn't find an explanation. Please help
Hi Amir,
Adding to Hareesh's reply, please check the below link
Configuring the Receiver IDoc Adapter (SAP Library - SAP Exchange Infrastructure)
If you set the
relevant indicator, the original partners from the IDoc request message are used
for acknowledgments. This means you no longer have to maintain the alternative
identifiers (for party conversion) in the Integration Directory.

Hi Aamir,
Please check the below note from sap note
The following tasks are performed for each sender and receiver:
With the help of the IDoc control record data, a service without party is determined using the adapter-specific identifiers.
If the sender port is the same as SAP+SYSID =>
Service with R/3 identification (SYSID+client)
If the sender port differs from SAP+SYSID =>
Service with sender port as a logical system
If the partner type is 'LS' =>
The XI sender party is empty. => The XI sender is the service without party from a).
If the partner type is not 'LS' =>
Party identifiers are determined according to the following rule:
Agency = service without party from a)
Scheme = 'ALE#' + partner type + partner role (from control record)
Name = IDoc partner number (from control record)
Is the XI party maintained with alternative identifiers?
If the answer is yes, the XI party is copied with the above service.
If the answer is no, the party is copied from the identifiers with the above service.
=> There must be a receiver determination with * as the party.
Here, the logic is similar as for the IDoc sender partner, but the receiver service is left empty.
The following information is required for the partner profile:
Receiver agreement => Header mapping &
IDoc channel &
IDoc channel => Identifiers &
Indicator "Copy values from IDoc XML control record".
