Hello Shaila,

Goto the QA system and trigger the Transaction ESH_COCKPIT. Here in the Enterprise search cockpit check whether the MDG_MATERIAL Connector exists and is active.

If it not existing you should have create the connector and schedule the indexing. You have to follow the setup guide for that.

Cheers,

Hello Saras,

I have already done the configurations in the 'ESH_COCKPIT' and the scheduled indexing.

It shows 'Active'. But the test program fails and also when i search material from portal/front end same issue arises.

Any hints.

Thanks in advance.

In this case I would suggest you to go into the ESH_COCKPIT. For the MDG_MATERIAL Connector drill it down, look for the logical indices(Associations). Check if those are active or not. If it active it should be fine. Else try to recreate the connector and schedule indexing.

Most times recreating the connector and indexing works. Then try to run the ESH_TEST_SEARCH report for MDG_MATERIAL.

If you are testing from the front end Check If the standard MATERIAL Connector also is active. ( I assume that your implementation has both Primary Persistence and Staging Area)
