CRC Error occurs in download NWABAPTRIAL70211_64_GW204

Dear all,

I have tried to download the SAP netweaver 7.03 64 bit from the scn download site today.

The download link itself works, however the file is corrupt (CRC Error).

I have repeated this a couple of times and the result is always the same.

Please also have a look at the attached screen shot to see which files are corrupt.

Please help or provide a workaround.

Hemant Hada is partially right , probably the downloaded file is corrupted or not correctly completed (but not because of download manager...)

I've faced same issue with Rodrigo Bagatim

Did you check the file size with scn after you downloaded that ?

Hi Andrea,

You are right that it may not be due to not using download manager however that is the best way of doing it. I also download via 3rd party download manager but prefer the right way only.

It all depends you are comfortable with what...

Anyway Werner, you may prefer any method, but ensure as said by Andrea that size should match.

thanks for your help so far.

I also think this has nothing to do with the sap download manager, as CRC is clearly a problem with the image.

The file size for NWABAPTRIAL70211_64_GW204.jar is 2.097.156 KB, well below the expected file size as show on the download page itself.

I did manage to download the NWABAPTRIAL70304_64 version, which does not have the CRC error.

I hope that I can install and use it on my Windows 7 workstation (the requirements ask for Windows server os).

Btw, as a newbie I am wondering how to get account for http://service.sap.com if you are not a customer and also not a business partner. The trial downloads are for my personal use only.

Dear Werner,

As per the image below, it is incorrectly downloaded. It seems that you are downloading via any download manager. Try downloading SAP Download Manager. It will work 100%.
