Replace Live Compare with Cross Database Compare?

SAP Solman7.1 has CDC (Cross Database Compare)  available.

I used to use Live Compare.

Can Live Compare be replaced by CDC?

Hi

The Live Compare reports produce information about changes which might happen in your System when new Transports or Support Packs are applied in your system.. The advantage is that it does all of that without the actual implementation of the same in the system..

The Cross DB Compare is looking towards more of Data Consistency checks across multiple SAP systems present in your landscape.. for example between the ECC and CRM system , or ECC and MDM systems.

Hence it should not replace Live Compare

I did not notice that Live Compare could predict what the system would be even before an  SP got imported.

I will find out.
