Last data load date filter in Webi

Hi Experts,

I need to put a filter/parameter on webi reports that shows the date of last data load, there is no predefined filter availiable in webi as such. Can someone help me write a formula to accomplish this ?

There will not be any predefined filter as there is no mechanism in webi to know when a table or database is last refreshed.. To achieve this you will need a field in the database field or fact table with a load time stamp which is a normal practice in ETL..

Once you have that you can bring it over in universe and use it in your report..

I did find the Lastrefreshdate object coming from Universe already created under Time dimension and it is refering to the date of last data load in the DB, so that solves the purpose.
