Dear Gurus,
I have to extract data from an MSSQL database. I have the source system. I have the view I want to use to extract data.à
But when I try to get sample data, I get the following error:
SQL error "207" with message: "Invalid column name 'APPROB_DIR_RECLAMATION_DECIS
Message no. RSDS_ACCESS023
It looks like the length of one column name si too long for BW (7.31 SP5). I can not change the name of the column in the original database...Has anyone faced that issue and managed to work with that ?
Thanks
P
Hi
There is some limitations on the lenght and the naming of the columns. If you can't change the table below create a view that helps you extracting the data to work around that problem.
hope that helps
Martin

Hi guys
Actually, the length of the field that contains the name of the database column is too short (30 characters)....It is the object DBOBJECT_D
Has some ever faced the issue ?
