finding inbound idoc for PO

How can I find out that for specific purchase order which inboud idoc is created & is in error.

if you PO was created with an IDOC, then you can find this inbound IDOC in the Object services.

in ME23N   choose from menu System -> service for objects

then click the icon for display relationships.

you will then get a list where you should find the IDOC.

if you are talking about something different with the term "inbound idoc"  then please clarify

I am talking about inbound idoc which update data in confirmations tab of the PO.

It should be as well shown in the same place as mentioned before.

You probably know the partner (vendor) who sent the IDOC and you know as well the date, so you can use BD87 to find the IDOC, however the link to the order can only be seen in the IDOC itself

You can very well search in t-code WE09 with direction as "2" based on date.
