Activity step not receiving data

I have developed a workflow by extending a standard Business object 2105, which had been working fine till date, however it has started giving some problems. The Activity step (which is also agent determination step) has stopped receiving data from task container for some unknown reason, as result the workflow does not proceed to next step which is user decision, the workflow shows the status as COMPLETED. I have checked the following:-

  1. The binding seems to fine from method->task->workflow, it has not been disturbed.
  2. I put a infinite loop in the Business Object method and was able to debug using SM50, the method seems to executing just fine and returning data as expected.
  3. I also checked the task container, which was empty after the step was executed, which means that task itself is not receiving the data from method.

Has anyone faced such as issue before?

    Please take following steps:

1.) Buffer clearing using T-codes SWU_OBUF and PPWFBUF.

2.) If it not works after doing step 1 then generate the Workflow template as well as business object once and then try.

please clear the buffer usin swu_obuf. And also check SWU3 for customization.

Then if it is ok share workflow log screenshot
