Material Ledger Activation

Dear Guru`s,

I want to activate ML on plant in testing client. The steps which I followed to activate it are:

1. Activate Valuation Area for Material Ledger.

2. Assign Currency types to material ledger type.

3. Assign Material Ledger type to Valuation area.

4. Activate Actual costing

5. Activate Actual Cost component split.

When I went to create material , I mean SFG & FG the check box is untick of Material ledger in Accounting view 1.

Can anybody suggest me where I went wrong???

After you define configuration related to ML,  You shoud execute t-code ckmstart.

You can analysis ml-relevant customizing settings using t-code CKM9 as below picture.

I have attached the screen shot of ckm9,but in this I noticed that material ledger is activated,then why it is not showing in mm03.

Hi Nitisha,

You have to active Material Ledger and Run CKMSTART before any material creation on you new plant.

Or you have a problem with OMS2 Quantity and Value flag check.

If you created any material before activate ML, you cannot change it in Master Data anymore.

Try to create another material now and implement the following SAP Note 1511937 - C+065 or C+019 or Material Ledger flag is not set in the Material Master although the Material Ledger has been activated for the plant.
