[Help] Cannot see performance monitor tool

Hello, I'm trying to use URL paramenter - "&sap-wd-perfMonitor=x" in my webdynpro applications, however some test users are not able to see the tool UI on top-right corner (show as below); Does any one know whether there is authorization check behind it or how to make it visible? many thanks for your help!

Regards,

XiaoLiang

    Hi XiaoLiang,

Yes, this uses the authorization check.

I am not sure of what the exact authorization object is.

you can check with the test users who are not able to see perfmonitor, find the roles and authorization of those users and compare with the others 😊

    Hope this helps you.

    Regards,

    Rama

      Hi Rama,

Thanks for your suggestion, however the AOs are too much, it is not so efficient to compare each of them. At last I copied a new test user from a usable one (which can see the UI), even gave it SAP_ALL profile, unfortunately still not work. I'm wondering whether it is controlled by something else. 😕

    Hi,

As suggested above, compare the roles of the users. Also, try the key board short cut, CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + P to activate the performance trace.

      Hi Kiran,

Thanks for your reply, for my user which can see the UI, the short cut just refresh the perfmence UI content; for users which cannot see the UI, it makes no difference when press "CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + P".

      Regards,

      XiaoLiang.
