Barcode code39 crystal reports odln.docnum as barcode - problem in scanning

Hi!

We have problems in scanning the barcode at customer site.

The customer wants his docnum at delivery-note to be presented as a barcode.

We have downloaded 2 different codes but neither will be scanned.  While downloading a test from the vendors web (in a word doc) the scanner recognizes the code.

Any good tips to perfectly add a barcode as mentioned?

Hi,

In order for code39 to be recognized by the scanner, you have to add an asterisk symbol (*) as prefix and suffix.

For example:

1234 should be written as *1234*.
