BW - Distribute via Enterprise Portal

Whenever I try to use the BW context menu entry "Distribute->via Enterprise Portal", I get the following error.

"<b>RFC destination <rfc destination name> is incorrect (user mapping call)</b>"

where <rfc destination name> is the name of the rfc destination of the portal as set up in BW. If I test the connection of the rfc destination, it works fine.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this so that reports can be published to EP?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Regards

Richard

    Hi Richard,

I am not really sure of the problem that you are facing.

But if your objective is to publish BW Reports in EP, then you can create BW IViews in EP and point them to the respective reports in BW.

      Hi Vivek,

Thanks very much for your response.

I have managed to create an BW iView in EP that points to a BW report, and this works fine.

The problem that I am facing is when I have a BW Web report, it is (apparently) possible to publish this directly to the portal. This would allow a user to run a report, and publish it to a folder or room within EP. When I try to do this, I am getting the error described above.

      Regards

      Richard
